- Start by taking a bath and wearing clean clothes.
- Light a diya or lamp – Akhand diya for the whole night and offer red or yellow flowers to Goddess Durga.
- I take the Sankalp ( Viniyog written in Sanskrit ) that I, [say your name and gotra], will perform Ram Raksha Stotram 11 times for 9 days in this Chaitra Navratri 2024, holding water in my hands and then leaving water on the ground.
- Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes.
- Chant the following mantra in the following order:
- Ganesh Mantra: Om Gang Ganapatye Namah 108 times
