Is there any difference between Guru and Sadguru?

INDIA is the fertile land of vast knowledge and culture. On the riverbank of Sindhu ( later Sindhu river called as HINDU due to wrong pronunciation hence people residing near the river were called as HINDU).

The Indian rishis recited VEDA Mantras and compose the sacred scriptures, Viz 4 Vedas- Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvedas, 18 Puranas, Darshana, Mimamsha, Yog but later on laymen were unable to understand this highly based spiritual scripts thus Indian rishi composed 108 Upanishads

Upanishads mean to come nearby to Spiritual Master. Sadguru – Spiritual Master in Indian tradition known as Guru. S/he is considered as spiritually develop soul, who is a link between spiritual aspirant & almighty.

Just try to learn the truth by approaching the Spiritual Master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The Self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.

Katho-Upanishad which is based on a conversation between  Nachiketa ( son of King Udaalak) and Demigod Yama ( King of death). This is wonderful scriptures which give answers to the mystery of death and human suffering. This Upanishad says that there are 3 sign/ways wherein common man can identify the spiritual master

a) One who gets adjusts to the situation, in another term he is extremely flexible to nature and moulds himself according to the situation.

If a devotee offers him food in the royal palace with all luxuries in the morning then he will happy. But same or other devotee offer him simple food in poor hut then also the Spiritual Master will be happy having no tense nor any attachment toward any materialistic things/world.

b) The second sign of spiritual master is one who has vast complete knowledge of the universe. He can speak on any topic without any prior preparation. S/He can speak on tradition, atom, science, human civilization etc.

For him to speak on any subject of the Universe is extremely easy. It is said that Lord Saraswati ( Demigod of Knowledge ) resides in the tongue of such higher soul.

Now a question arises that even a Politician can speak nicely. But there is a huge difference in between Guru and Politician.

A politician also speaks very fluently but his/her word get sunk in the human brain which is retained in human memory for a short period of time wherein words were spoken by spiritual master get sink into the human heart and left the big impact of the human race forever.

c) The third sign of spiritual master is that he is a good companion of a human being. One feels very comfortable and joyful as he/she sat down in feet of a guru. Scriptures say real guru always take care of his/her disciple in every form, is a critical time, grief and also in happy movement. At every step, the disciple feels like guru is his/her father, mother, brother and friends, guide and mentor..

HINDU scriptures say Sadhguru is more like a Mentor, guide and helpful person throughout the life because GURU is only one person in UNIVERSE who take care of his disciple even after death or next life.

 What Shrimad Bhagavatam Says?

Even the scared script -Shrimad Bhagvatam further says that The Spiritual Master is the mercy representative of Lord. ( 1.7.22 – Bhagvatam )

TEXT 1 of 7 – 22 clearly mentioned about master such as “arjuna uvācakṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa mahā-bāhobhaktānām abhayaṅkaratvam Eko dahyamānānāmapavargo ‘si saṁsṛteḥ

Therefore is always advisable to search for Self-realized Soul who can answer to your inquire of spiritual science and the material world.
