We have already told you that the broom is a female numerical item, that’s why if you want to buy a broom, even dates are considered to be important, such as between Beeja, Chaturthi Srishti, Ashtami, Dashami, Dwadasi, Chaturdashi and that’s why in the scriptures, there is a rule to buy a female-dominated number ie 2,4,6,8,10,12,14

Which day we should not buy a broom?

That broom should never be bought on Pratipada, Teej, Panchami, Saptami, Dashami, Ekadashi, Dwadashi, Purnima, and Amavasya because all female prime numbers have been told as even dates (2,4,6,8,10,12,14) and male prime numbers Odd dates (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15) have been mentioned. As far as possible, a broom should never be bought on a full moon or new moon.

Is OK to buy a broom on Wednesday or Saturday?

According to scholars, the best days for buying brooms are those feminine energies days such as Monday and Friday. Wednesday and Saturday are days to avoid because Wednesday is Governs by Mercury which is said to be Prince in Astrology Numerology whereas Saturday is governed by Planet Saturn which is considered to be Old Man in Astrology hence they aren’t considered male energies by a few Astro Scholar and hence few scholars consider Mercury and Saturn as Impotent planet ( Napunshak Graha ).

Can we buy Broom on Friday or Monday?

As I said, Monday and Friday are considered to be water dominated and feminine, that’s why brooms should be bought on Monday or Friday only.

Should we buy a broom on Wednesday?

On the days from Sunday to Saturday, Wednesday and Saturday are considered malefic planets while Sunday, Thursday, and Tuesday are considered malefic planets.

While Shani is considered an old man and an old man does not have the same strength and power as a young man, that is why it is forbidden to buy a broom on Saturdays also. But, certainly, Mercury and Saturn are not malefic planets.

According to Vastu, Mercury has come in the north direction and according to Vastu, the goods of prosperity have come, that is why there should not be a broom in the north direction.

Mopping with salt in water while mopping removes negative energy from the house or that Vastu.

What is the rule for taking the broom out of the house / what should be done with the old broom?

झाड़ू कब खरीदना चाहिए? हम बता चुके हैं कि झाड़ू स्त्री संख्यावाचक वस्तु बताई गई है इसीलिए झाड़ू को खरीदना हो तो सम तिथियां की प्रधानता मानी  गयी  हैं जैसे के बीच चतुर्थी, षष्ठी , अष्टमी, दशमी, चतुर्दशी और इसीलिए जहां शास्त्रों में स्त्री प्रधान अंक में खरीदने का विधान है उसी प्रकार पुरुष प्रधान अंक  जैसे कि  प्रतिपदा, तीज,  पंचमी, सप्तमी, दशमी, एकादशी, द्वादशी, पूर्णिमा और अमावस्या को झाड़ू कदापि नहीं खरीदनी  चाहिए क्योंकि सारे स्त्री प्रधान अंक को सम तिथि ( 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 ) बताया गया है और पुरुष प्रधान अंक को विषम तिथि ( 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 )बताया गया है।  जहां तक संभव हो सके पूर्णिमा को और अमावस्या को झाड़ू कदापि नहीं खरीदना चाहिए।

झाड़ू खरीदने के लिए लाभदायक वार

विद्वानों के अनुसार जिस प्रकार चनपटिया झाड़ू  खरीदने के लिए सबसे अच्छा माना गया है उसी प्रकार 7 वारों  में  सोमवार और शुक्रवार को जो कि स्त्री वाचक संज्ञा वार माने गए हैं इन्हीं 2 दिनों पर आप को झाड़ू खरीदना चाहिए।

शुक्रवार के दिन क्या खरीदना चाहिए?

जैसे की मैंने बताया , सोमवार और शुक्रवार को जल प्रधान और स्त्री वाचक मन गया है , इसीलिए सोम या शुक्रवार को ही झाड़ू खरीदना चाहिए ।

क्या बुधवार को झाड़ू खरीदना चाहिए?

रविवार से लेकर शनिवार तक दिनों में बुधवार और शनिवार को नपुसंक ग्रह माना गया है जबकि रविवार, गुरुवार, और मंगलवार को पुरुष ग्रह माना गया है। 

पर ऐसा नहीं है कि बुधवार और शनिवार को नपुंसक ग्रह मानना चाहिए क्योंकि बुध ग्रह को युवराज माना गया है क्योंकि वह एक बालक रूप में जाना जाता है इसीलिए बुध की संज्ञा नहीं दी गई। 

जबकि शनि ग्रह को एक वृद्ध ग्रह माना गया है और वृद्ध व्यक्ति के अंदर में शक्ति और सामर्थ्य नहीं होती जितनी एक युवा के अंदर होती है इसीलिए शनिवार को भी झाड़ू  खरीदने के लिए मना कर दिया गया है। पर यह बात निश्चित है कि बुध ग्रह और शनि ग्रह नपुंसक ग्रह नहीं है।

 क्या किसी भी पक्ष में झाड़ू खरीद सकते हैं?

यह प्रश्न कई बार मुझसे पूछा गया है क्या अब किसी भी पक्ष में झाड़ू खरीद सकते हैं इसका उत्तर है हां। आप चाहे तो शुक्ल पक्ष हो या कृष्ण पक्ष में कोई भी पक्ष में जाओ और झाड़ू खरीद कर घर पर ला सकते हैं पर यह बात निश्चित है कि अमावस्या में झाडू लेना निषेध माना गया है।

झाड़ू का उपयोग कैसे करें?

विद्वानों का मानना है कि झाड़ू को खरीदने के बाद घर लाने पर उसका अभी रिबन करना चाहिए यदि पूजन ना कर सक तो उसके ऊपर हलके हलके पानी के छींटें मार देने  चाहिए और उसको बहुत ही संभाल करके रखना चाहिए – कुछ इस तरह से कि  सामान्य जनता की  नजर में वो झाड़ू दिखाई ना दे। उसे इस प्रकार के संभाल के रखें  जैसे कि तिजोरी में रखा हुआ कोई धन हो।

कई संप्रदाय और जातियों में यह प्रथा है कि झाड़ू को वर्ष में केवल एक बार खरीद करके उसका पूजन करके जो ही वह नया झाड़ू काम में लिया जाता है और इसीलिए नववर्ष के अवसर पर कई घरों में नया झाड़ू खरीदने का प्रचलन है।

झाड़ू को कौन सी दिशा में रखना चाहिए?/झाड़ू कहां और कैसे रखें?

विद्वानों का मानना है झाड़ू को किसी भी कोने में रखे पर उसे ईशान कोण में कदापि ना रखें क्योंकि वह पवित्र फिर तो माना गया है और ईशान अर्थात भगवान शिव का स्थान माना गया है इसीलिए ईशान कोण में ना रखें। आप किसी भी कोने में झाड़ू को रख सकते हैं। इस बात का ध्यान रखें -झाड़ू को रखने पर उसे पूरी तरह से ढक के रखें ताकि वह जनता की नजर में ना आए।

उत्तर दिशा को बुध ग्रह का और वास्तु के अनुसार समृद्धि का स्थान माना गया है इसीलिए उत्तर दिशा में झाड़ू का निवास नहीं होना चाहिए।

झाड़ू को किचन में रखना चाहिए?

झाड़ू को किचन रखने में कोई दोष नहीं है पर यह ध्यान रखे कि अगर आपका किचन/रसोईघर  उत्तर या ईशान कोण में स्थित हो तो झाड़ू न रखे ।

क्या एक साथ दो झाड़ू रखना उचित है?

वास्तु शास्त्र और कुछ विद्वानों का एक साथ में दो झाड़ू रखना और अशुभ माना गया है इसीलिए जिस घर में दो झाड़ू हों  तो एक झाड़ू को उपयोग में रखें और दूसरे झाड़ू  को जो उपयोग में ना हो उसे किसी अन्य स्थान पर संभाल करके रख दें।

नई झाड़ू कब इस्तेमाल सम तिथि में अगर समय हो तो सम तिथि ( अर्थांत – २, ४, ६, ८, १०, १२, १४ ) में ही इस्तेमाल करे ।

झाड़ू लगाने  के लिए सबसे श्रेष्ठ समय कौन सा है?/सुबह 4:00 बजे झाड़ू लगाने से क्या होता है?

विद्वान कहते हैं यदि आपको झाड़ू लगाना ही है तो सबकी श्रेष्ठ समय ब्रह्म मुहूर्त से सुबह १० या ११ बजे   तक सबसे अच्छा समय माना गया है।

सूर्यास्त के समय या सूर्यास्त के बाद अर्थात शाम को 6:00 बजे के बाद कभी भी झाड़ू ना लगाएं ।

शास्त्र यह भी कहता है कि यदि आप लंबी तीर्थ यात्रा या लंबी यात्रा के लिए जाने की तैयारी कर रहे हो तो घर से निकलते वक्त घर में झाड़ू कदापि ना लगाएं।

झाड़ू को उतना ही मान सम्मान मिलना चाहिए जितना आप महालक्ष्मी को मान सम्मान देते हैं क्योंकि यदि आप झाड़ू को मान सम्मान सहित रखेंगे तो आपके घर में सुख समृद्धि और जीवन में लक्ष्मी की कृपा प्राप्त होगी।

झाड़ू की तरह पोछा लगाने के लिए कौन से नियम है?

जिस प्रकार प्रकार झाड़ू लगाने के लिए ऊपर मैने सारे नियम बताए हैं उसी प्रकार पोछा लगाने के लिए भी यही सारे नियम लागू होगे।

पोछा लगाते समय पानी में क्या डालना चाहिए?

पोछा लगाते समय पानी में नमक डाल कर  पोछा लगाने से घर या उस वास्तु में नकारामक ऊर्जा समाप्त हो जाती है ।

झाड़ू को घर से बाहर निकालने का नियम/पुरानी झाड़ू का क्या करना चाहिए?

झाड़ू बहुत पुराना हो गया हो या कट गया हो या पूरी तरह से नष्ट होने की अवस्था अवस्था में झाड़ू को मंगलवार या शनिवार को घर से बाहर निकालना चाहिए क्योंकि मंगलवार और शनिवार को विषम तिथि मानी गई है जो कि पुरुष प्रधान तिथियां है। 

इसी प्रकार झाड़ू को घर से बाहर निकालने के लिए सुबह का समय कभी ना रखें और मध्यान्ह को भी झाड़ू को घर से बाहर कभी लेकर नहीं जाना चाहिए।

पुरानी झाड़ू को कभी भी जलाना नहीं चाहिए ना ही उसे जल में या समुद्र में या नदी में प्रवाहित करना चाहिए । पूरे मान सम्मान के साथ – उसे कचरे के कूड़े में डाल देना चाहिए और  वह भी केवल मंगलवार या शनिवार को ही घर से बाहर निकालना चाहिए।
